Thomas Donohue, head of the US Chamber of Commerce has been received by China's top legislator.

Wu Bangguo told him that the two countries have promoted cooperation in various fields with their economic and trade partnership one of the most important. As the world economy slows, dialogue between the two countries should be stepped up.

Donohue said the Chamber is willing to bring its advantages into full play to increase mutual understanding, expand cooperation and make more contributions at a higher level.
