Transport systems bracing for record number of travelers

Transport systems are bracing for a record number of  Spring Festival travelers.

Airlines are also under pressure. Transport authorities estimate that nearly 24 million journeys will be made by air, an increase of 12 percent from last year.

Discount tickets for domestic routes to tourist hot spots as well as major cities are hard to come by. The civil aviation authorities have advised travelers to book their tickets as early as possible.
