Freeze hits southern China

Qiao Lin, Chief Forcaster of National Meteorological Center, said, "The extreme freezing weather which caused disasters in the southern provinces this January is very rare. According to meteorological probability and prediction, the possibility of a repeat of the freezing weather is very small. "
The experts also said the impact of this cold front across the country is almost finished. Temperatures in the south will soon start to rise above freezing.
