Shenzhou-7 space team visits HK

The astronauts of the Shenzhou-7 space flight are in Hong Kong for a celebration of national pride and to inject some optimism into the city during the current global economic crisis.

The three space heroes have a very busy schedule on their four-day tour in Hong Kong.

After the visit of the Olympic Gold Medal Teams, Hong Kong received yet another dose of national pride -- this time from outer space.

China's first space walker warmed up the local media with a Hong Kong style greeting.

And he tried out his Hong Kong dialect throughout the whole Q and A.

Zhai Zhogang, China's 1st Spacewalker, said, " I'm glad to be in HK. And I'm happy to meet the press here. Here I wanna represent the whole team of the Chinese astronauts to extend our respect and to all Hong Kong compariots who have provided their relentless coverage and support, and to extend our thanks to media staff who put their focus on us."
