Cold front sweeps China

A cold front from Siberia has brought the coldest weather to most part of China so far this winter. Forecasters say this may last three to five days.

Almost all of the country, except the Tibet Autonomous Region, has been affected by this winter's coldest weather.
North China has witnessed a temperature drop of eight to ten degrees Celsius, with some regions experiencing a fall of more than 14 degrees, as the cold front from western Siberia moves through. Part of Inner Mogolia recorded temperatures of minus 24 degrees Celsius.
Heavy wind also cause sandstorms in Hebei Province.
