The fourth meeting between the two sides took place in Annapolis in June 2008. Discussions focused on financial and macro-economic management, developing and protecting human capital and the benefits of trade and open markets. Both sides also discussed boosting investment and advancing joint opportunities for cooperation in energy and the environment.
