The Constitution Court on Tuesday ruled the three ruling parties in the coalition government-- People Power Party (PPP), Chart Thai Party and Matchima Thipataya Party were guilty of electoral fraud charges.

Hundreds of pro-government protesters rallied outside the court in Bangkok before the ruling on Tuesday. They blocked roads, forcing judges to move to another court to chair the session.

The ruling sinks Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat's government. This outcome raises hopes that thousands of anti-government protesters will end their siege of the country's two main airports.
