Sichuan is moving forward in its post-quake rebuilding efforts.

By last week, nearly 195,000 residential houses in rural areas had been rebuilt. That's more than 15 percent of those that need re-building.

Over forty percent of the schools that need re-building have been completed or are under construction. Also underway is the building of 340 health clinics. In addition, major highway recovery projects have also been launched.

And more than 96 percent of affected industrial enterprises have resumed operations.
