For the three networks, NBC, CBS and Fox attracted 10 million, 8.5 million and 8 million viewers respectively compared with the daily average audiences of about 7 million who usually tune into each network at the same half-hour.

Overall, for the six networks that aired the ad simultaneously, it marked an audience rate high of nearly 22 percent, which means 22 percent of all households or about 30 million people watched Obama's campaign "infomercial" at that half-hour.

It is estimated that Obama's TV ad costs at least 3.5 million U.S. dollars.
