China and Slovenia had been working hard to develop the equal, friendly and mutual-benefiting bilateral relations since the two countries established diplomatic relations in 1992, which not only brought the two peoples practical benefits, but also injected energy into the China-Europe relations, said Wen.

He said that China would like to strengthen cooperation with Slovenia in trade, investment and infrastructure facilities and to enhance personnel exchanges to raise the friendly cooperative Sino-Slovenian relations to a new high.

Expressing appreciation to China's friendly policies to Slovenia, Turk said his country was willing to enhance political dialogues and expand cooperation in trade, finance and tourism.

Turk, who arrived in Beijing on Friday morning, is also expected to attend the two-day Asia-Europe Meeting summit scheduled to open on Friday afternoon.
