Danish PM: Denmark seeking more co-op with China

Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen says Denmark is seeking more cooperation with China in tackling daunting global issues, such as climate change and the financial crisis. He made the remarks while attending a conference on climate change in Beijing.

China has been working with Denmark in environmental  protection for years.

China has been working with Denmark in environmental protection for years. Six provinces in China are using environmental protection projects provided by Denmark. It's expected that during this year's ASEM, China will make a proposal on building an Asia-Europe eco-city network, in which Danish clean energy technologies will play an important role.

The Danish Prime Minister is also calling for international cooperation to rebuild confidence among investors.

Danish Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen said, "We need to strengthen international cooperation concerning the financial crisis. We need to stabilize the financial crisis."
