On the eve of Friday's ASEM meeting, CCTV host Tian Wei interviewed Malta's Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi.

Malta's Prime Minister, Lawrence Gonzi received CCTV's  interview.

The Maltese leader says the ASEM meeting has become a valuable platform for Asian and European leaders to exchanges views and explore new ways of cooperation. He notes that such consultations are of special importance amid the current global financial crisis.
