Chinese President Hu Jintao meets German Chancellor

BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- Chinese President Hu Jintao met here on Friday morning with German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is here to pay an official visit to China and to attend the seventh summit of the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) scheduled for Oct. 24 to 25.
