Financial crisis to top Asian-EU summit

China will host the 7th summit of Asian and European leaders later this month. The ministers will discuss energy, climate change and food security. But the global financial meltdown is expected to top the agenda.

Assistant to foreign minister Liu Jieyi said, "The summit will provide a platform for world leaders to discuss how to restore investors' confidence and find solutions to the global financial crisis through regional cooperation."
