Vancouver Mayor impressed by Beijing Olympics & Paralympics

Vancouver Mayor, Sam Sullivan, says he's significantly impressed by the Beijing Olympics and Paralympics. Sullivan was invited to Beijing as one of the Paralympics torchbearers earlier this month.

He says he has never seen any city or country embrace the Paralympics in the way that China has. Sullivan says the Beijing volunteers are a wonderful example of how China has welcomed the world and opened its arms to those participating in the Paralympics. He says Beijing has set high standards for Vancouver, host city of 2010 Winter Olympics.

Sam Sullivan, Vancouver Mayor said "Well, I said to many people in China when I saw the Olympics and Paralympics, Vancouver is under great pressure, because Beijing ....."
