JAKARTA, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Expert staff of Indonesian sport and youth ministry, Johar Arifin Husin could hardly express his big and good impression of Beijing Paralympic Games.

"What has made me, and the whole Indonesia contingent impressed, China is really serious about the Games, and also seriously concerned about disabled-bodied people, including athletes," Arifin told Xinhua on Monday just a few hours after returning from Beijing to Indonesia.

Chinese President Hu Jintaoi's presence during the opening ceremony proved the seriousness of the Chinese government through organizing committee, he said.

"And another thing is during our visit, the volunteers' contributions to foreign contingents, including Indonesia. They refused our generous tip wherever we went, such as museums, old and historic mosque in Beijing, etc," he said.

In short, Arifin could not mention all the good sides of Beijing during the games, ranging from President Hu's seriousness to earnest volunteers, excellent facilities, to any foreign contingents, including Indonesia.

"Out of all impressions of mine, visiting the historic ancient mosque. I am a Moslem and government official, I am deeply touched after visiting the mosque," he said.

Although three Indonesian Paralympians failed to achieve any medal during the Games, they learned abundant experience and lessons during the Beijing Paralympic Games.
