Four world records were broken in the National Aquatics Center on Wednesday. by South Africa's Paul Kevin in the men's 100 meter breaststroke SB9, America's Lamback Lantz in the men's 100 meter backstroke S7, Australia's Porter Katrina in women's 100 meter backstroke S7, and Russia's Lisenkov Konstantin in the men's 100 meter backstroke S8.

In the women's individual pursuit LC 1-2/CP4, Britain's Sarah Storey set a world record to take the gold medal.

Chinese players continued their domination of table tennis at the Paralympics.

In the women's singles F1-2, Chinese player Liu Jing won the gold. Li Qian got another gold in the F3 event.

Chinese players also went through to the next round in the women's singles F5 and F9.

On Tuesday, Xiao Cuijuan claimed the first powerlifting gold at the Paralympics for the host nation, lifting 100 kilograms.

China's Yuan Yanping won the country's fourth judo gold at the women's 70 kilogram with three straight ippons.

Later of the day, Chinese athletes clinched four golds in the track and field games, by winning the Men's 4 by 100 meter relay T-53/54, the Men's Javelin Throw F37/38, the Men's 5000 meter T11, and the Women's Shot Put F42-46.

South Africa's "Blade Runner" Oscar Pistorius got the gold in men's 100 meter T44.
