Fourth straight basketball gold for USA women

In a contest which wrapped up close to midnight Saturday, the United States defeated Australia 92-to-65 in the women's basketball gold medal game. The win gives Team USA its fourth straight Olympic championship.

It's also the third consecutive time the squad took out Australia in the final. Kara Lawson led a balanced effort for the Americans with 15 points. Lisa Leslie and Candace Parker added 14 points apiece. For the "Opals," as Australia's squad is popularly known, Lauren Jackson was the individual highlight with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
