The one hundred middle school graduates from quake-ravaged areas will study at the art school attached to Shenyang musical college. They will receive three-years of high school education, followed by four-year's of college education, without paying tuition.

One student said "I feel very happy. My future studies can be guaranteed. I can work hard there. My parents will feel happy if I make achievements."

To help students get used to their new life, the college has set up a special working group.

Ma Xin, college leader said "We finished all preparations one month in advance. Dorms, teachers to help them around the clock, chefs to cook Sichuan dishes, course arrangement, and psychological counseling service."

The school is also working with civil authorities to help students find sponsor families so they can feel more at home on weekends and in the holiday seasons.
