This group of experts evaluated buildings and reconstruction projects after last year's September 21st earthquake in Taiwan. They will exchange ideas and discuss quake-proof technology and rebuilding school campuses.

The May 12th Wenchuan earthquake damaged 4.5 million houses, leaving 10 million people homeless. Some famous landscapes also suffered. The Taiwan experts are working with local officials on plans for rebuilding these sites. Reconstruction is expected to take three years.
