Top leaders: Anti-drug work a long-term task in China

President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao and Vice Premier Zhou Yongkang have issued directives in the fight against drugs. They call for consistent implementation of the long-term mission.

Under the new circumstances and as new problems arise, work should continue to focus on overall management. The directives also suggest reinforcing efforts on the basis of the Anti-drug Laws.

On Tuesday, the Minister of Public Security Ministry, Meng Jianzhu, presided over the national anti-drug committee meeting, where he delivered the spirit of the directives.
