The Information Office of the State Council has released the latest casualty figures from the May 12th Wenchuan earthquake.

At noon today (Tuesday), the death toll was 69,146 - an increase of four. More than 46-million people have been affected by the disaster, with over 374,000 people injured and more than 17,000 still missing.

In the 24-hour period to noon on Tuesday, one aftershock was reported measuring between 5 and 5.9 on the Richter scale. 185 tremors under 3.9 were recorded in the same period.

So far, the government has allocated relief funds of more than 23 billion yuan to the quake-affected areas. Meanwhile, the electricity supply has resumed in the badly-hit counties of Maoxian and Lixian.
