Torrential rain has again swept through parts of China. Downpours have caused floods in some counties in southern China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

Torrential rain has again swept through parts of China.

In Guangxi's city of Guilin, the water level at the Lijiang River, a local tourist attraction, is almost at the alert category. Local authorities have taken precautionary measures.

Crops in parts of neighboring Guangdong province have been soaked and a number of water resources facilities have been damaged. This despite the weakened intensity of rain in the province. There have even been tornadoes in some areas of Guangdong. Local authorities have evacuated more than 20,000 residents across the province.

Downpours have also hit parts of central Hunan and Hubei provinces,eastern Jiangxi and Anhui provinces, as well as southwestern Guizhou province.
