WHO praises China´s medical work after visiting quake zone

Representatives of the World Health Organization have praised the medical and health work at China's quake-ravaged Sichuan Province. They said people injured in the earthquake were receiving good treatment and the anti-epidemic work was carried out in an orderly manner.

Representatives of the World Health Organization have  praised the medical and health work at China's quake-ravaged  Sichuan Province.

The group of four WHO representatives arrived in Deyang City on Friday. They inspected makeshift hospitals in regions severely hit by the quake, such as Mianzhu, Zundao and Hanwang to check out the overall situation of medical work.

The WHO staff praised medical workers for their dedication and selfless effort.
