U.S. Senator, Barack Obama, has clinched the Democratic presidential nomination. Obama passed the crucial mark of 2118 national convention delegates. He will become the first African-American presidential nominee of a major U.S. political party. Our correspondent in Minnesota, Wu Hanying, has the story.

Barack Obama said, "Tonight we mark the end of one historic journey with the beginning of another. A journey that will bring a new and better day to America. Because of you, tonight I can stand here and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for the President of the USA."
