BUDAPEST, May 30 (Xinhua) -- The first shipment of Hungarian humanitarian aid, including 25 tents with a capacity for 10 people, is expected to leave for earthquake-hit areas of China on Monday, the Hungarian national disaster management authority said in a statement on Friday.

Monday's shipment will be followed by a second shipment, a water treatment machine which can produce 4,000 liters of clean water every hour.

Dobson Tibor, spokesman of the Hungarian national disaster management authority, said the water treatment machine would be transported to Frankfurt first and from there it might be transported to China on a freight aircraft. Two volunteers will go to Sichuan and train local people on operating the machine, Dobson added.

The Hungarian government on Wednesday earmarked 50 million forints (310,160 U.S. dollars) for the humanitarian aid to China.
