All across the country, manufacturers are working round the clock to produce urgently needed supplies for the quake zone. Six provinces including Zhejiang, Hubei, Guangdong, Shandong, Jiangsu and Henan are to offer direct supplies to specific cities in the quake-hit areas.

In central China's Hubei province, factory workers are busy making makeshift houses with wooden boards. So far, Hubei has sent 40,000 tents and 140,000 square meters of wooden boards.
