JAKARTA, May 23 (Xinhua) -- A military C-130 transporter and Boeing 727-200 cargo plane of Megantara Airlines carrying about 36 tons of logistic, medical and other materials donated by Indonesian government took off from Jakarta Halim military airport on Friday to earthquake-hit Sichuan Province, China.

Chief of Indonesia National Crisis Center, Syamsul Malarif said, according to the instruction of Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, the central government will supply most-wanted humanitarian materials to Chinese earthquake-hit Sichuan province and other regions to ease the pains and difficulties of the victims there.

"Except for the materials which include tents, baby foods, instant noodles, disinfector and medicines this time, we will soon send a medical team of 20 personnel and medicine totaling 1.5 million U.S. dollar," said Malarif.

Acting ambassador of China to Indonesia, Yang Lingzhu, expressed heartfelt thanks to Indonesian government, saying that, "although frequently hit by natural disaster, Indonesia still send aids to Chinese disaster areas. It shows the good relationship between our two countries. "
