A volunteer said, "When I heard about the situation here, I felt uncomfortable just staying at home. I come here to offer my share of support as much as I can."

At this point there are more than 100 primary and middle school students being treated at the West China Hospital. The youngest patient is only two years old. Some of the children are severely injured and may have to have amputations. Medical staff and volunteers say they will do their best to help them both physically and mentally.
