In Canada, Chinese students have gathered in front of Parliament Hill in Ottawa to show their support for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. They were expressing their condemnation for separatist activities recklessly advocating independence for Tibet. Many students and local residents expressed their anger over secessionist-related activities and attempts to link the Olympic Games in Beijing with the unrelated Tibet issue.

In Canada, Chinese students have gathered in front of Parliament Hill in Ottawa to show their support for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

Overseas Chinese student said, "A heart is on front of the T-shirt. It shows Canadians that I love China. China is a friendly country. And Tibet is part of China. I wish success for the Beijing Olympics."

The show of support for China and the 2008 Beijing Olympic Summer Games attracted the favorable attention of many local residents in Canada.
