Hu: China willing to deepen cooperation with Sweden

On the sidelines of the Boao Forum for Asia, President Hu Jintao met with Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt on Saturday afternoon.

President Hu said China is willing to deepen cooperation and strengthen communications and coordination of international affairs with Sweden.

Swedish Prime Minister Reinfeldt said his country has always made efforts to promote friendship with China. He said the Beijing Olympics is important not only for China, but for Asia and the whole world, and he wished the event a great success.

The two leaders also exchanged views on climate change and human rights.
