Many Chinese Americans in Los Angeles and San Francisco are looking towards the upcoming Beijing Olympic Games with a sense of pride. But they are deeply concerned about protesters disturbing the passage of the Olympic flame in the global relay.

Many Chinese Americans are deeply concerned about protesters disturbing the passage of the Olympic flame in the global relay. Many of them have voiced their anger.

Many of them have voiced their anger. They say the Olympic Games should be separated from politics and the Chinese government and people's efforts in organizing the Games should be acknowledged.

A San Francisco resident said, "I think most of them, they don't know about the history, about Tibet or something, they just follow somebody else. "

San Francisco resident Calvin said, "I believe that everyone has the right to protest as long as they do so non-violently, so I think that is part of what America is all about, and I hope it ends up all peaceful and that really I think, in a way, politics should be separate from the Olympics because it's really an athletic event, this is the one opportunity everybody has to work together and be one unified world."
