China's Foreign Ministry said the recent riots in Lhasa and other ethnic Tibetan areas were plotted and incited by the Dalai clique.

Spokesman Qin Gang says the riots were aimed at undermining China's sovereignty and territorial integrity, disrupting social stability. Qin says the door always remains open for dialogue if the Dalai Lama gives up his secessionist position and completely stops secessionist activities.

Netizens slam German media for distorted coverage of Tibet riots
