Antiwar demonstrators protest in the US

In a separate demonstration, police arrested 32 people after they crossed a barricade and blocked entrances to the Internal Revenue Service building.
The demonstrators said they were focusing on the federal government's tax collection agency, because tax dollars are being used to fund the war.
Protester, said, "I'm here because I want the IRS to know that I don't support this war and I do pay taxes. It's disappointing."
In San Francisco, several hundred people protested in the central business district and some were arrested.
More anti-war protests and vigils took place throughout the day around the US.
Protesters also picketed news organizations and defense contractors and blocked traffic in several antiwar events across the country.
