The ecological forests that she's been promoting have created a stunning view of the town. And they have also created a miracle in the improvement of the livelihood of the local people.

NPC deputy Yuan Miaozhi said, "By planting trees, the soil has become rich for farming. For instance, the output of potatoes in each unit of area surged to 100 kilograms. But in the past, the output was only 25 kilograms.”

Yuan Miaozhi has brought over 20 suggestions promoting "green" business to this year's National People's Congress session.

She says the people in her village are looking forward to building a non-wood forest. And they are also expecting more harvests from green policies.
