He stressed the importance of a good harvest this year. The premier said it's vital in preventing major disturbances in the lives of the people, especially those with low incomes.

It also allows society to maintain stability and harmony. Wen Jiabao praised Henan for its contribution in securing the supply of farm products and encouraged the province to further improve its capability as a national agricultural base.
