Little progress made in Israel and Palestinians talks

There's been little progress in negotiation between Israel and the Palestinians and a peace agreement won't be possible by the end of the year if the pace isn't accelerated.

Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad made the comments ahead of a meeting between Israeli and Palestinian leaders.

The summit was held on Tuesday evening at the residence of Israeli Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert.

Abbas reiterated to Olmert that the final status issues can't be divided for negotiations.

He also urged Israel to halt Jewish settlements' activities in the West Bank and end an 8-month siege imposed on the Gaza Strip ".
