Many companies and factories that experienced blackouts during the snow disaster have now had their power restored, and are up and running once again.

Companies and factories in Ganzhou in Jiangxi Province have restarted production, thanks to the restoration of the city's grid on Monday evening.

Lai Chunlin, vice president of Wanbao Rare-earth Separating Co. LTD, said, "At first we worried about our power supply, but it's more than we could have expected that the power came back so quickly. Now we are relieved, as the production won't be affected any more."

In Guiyang in Guizhou Province, this aluminum company that had remained shut for the past 20 days resumed one of its four main production lines. Currently, more than 100 factories in Guiyang are now back in business.

In Jiangsu Province, the emergency status of the grid has been lifted.

Sun Wenji, energy official of Nanjing Iron & Steel Group Co. LTD, said, "Due to the snowfall, we limited the power supply of some of our workplaces to guarantee household supply before the Spring Festival. But now we have cancelled the limits and our output is no longer affected."

Many other parts of China have also seen companies and factories get back online after recent power shortages.
