In China, more than half of 10-thousand power lines, damaged by heavy snow, have now been repaired.

More than half of 10-thousand power lines have now
been repaired.

For the past week, relief teams have been working round-the-clock to return supplies to the city of Chenzhou. But it wasn't just homes that were without electricity. The Chenzhou section of the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway was also without power, forcing trains to temporarily switch to diesel.

Meanwhile, supplies to the Changsha section of the railway is nearly complete.

Power supply to be fully restored in March

All damaged lines will be repaired by the
end of March.

The China Southern Power Grid says it will try to repair all its damaged lines by the end of March. Supply will resume for Guizhou Province by March 5th. The Southern Power Grid mobilized 4-thousand personnel from across the country to repair lines in Guizhou.

This, is in addition to its already more than 30-thousand local workers.
