China prepares for Japanese Prime Minister visit

China and Japan are making preparations for a visit here by Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda.

Fukuda told Premier Wen Jiabao in Singapore last month that he hoped to visit China possibly this year or the beginning of next year.

The exact date of the visit will be announced after it's agreed upon by the two sides.
