A bridge made of ice has been unveiled on the plaza of the United Nations building in New York City.

It was designed and constructed by renowned Norwegian artist, Vebjorn Sand.

Sand says ice from Antarctica was used to help make the bridge. And it will take about seven days for the bridge to melt.

The unveiling of the bridge comes a few days after the end of the UN Climate Change Conference in Indonesia. As the bridge melts, Sand hopes it will draw attention to the issue of climate change.

Sand and his team built a similar bridge in Antarctica last year. That bridge is still standing as it was not intended to melt.
