Beijing guarantees Olympic food safety

She Feng, General Manager of Beijing Huadu Broiler Co., said, "We have prepared a whole series of emergency plans for our supply to the Olympic Games. These plans will handle the emergency cases covering condition, food safety, distribution, and so on."

Some of the visiting journalists have lived in China for many years, so what they saw in the tour came as no surprise.

But others say even though they are not food experts, the fact that they are invited to these food-processing facilities clearly shows the emphasis Beijing is putting on food safety.
