The latest data show that the lunar probe Chang'e One is running exactly in its planned orbit.
The probe is travelling along the orbit at a stable altitude of 200 km above the moon's surface. In each circle, it passes the Moon's poles. The satellite entered the orbit at the scheduled time and place on Wednesday, after completing its one and a half million kilometers journey.
This is the first time Chinese scientists have maneuvered a satellite 400,000 kilometers away from the Earth.
