Three stages of Chang´e One orbiter´s mission

The second stage of the moon mission is "Landing on the Moon". After launching Chang'e One, China will begin research on landing an unmanned vehicle on the Moon around 2012. The lunar rover will probe the Moon's surface, marking a breakthrough in China's technology on landing and surveying another celestial body.
