Chinese peacekeepers in Haiti have been awarded the "Peace Medal" for their outstanding contributions in the country. The medal was given on behalf of the UN and Secretary General Ban Ki-moon by a special delegation of the UN Stabilization Mission to Haiti.
The head of the delegation expressed his congratulations to the Chinese peacekeeping squad and awarded the medals.
