Premier Wen meets leaders from foreign countries in Davos

Premier Wen Jiabao has met with leaders from countries attending the "Summer Davos" forum in northeast China's Dalian city. They include leaders from Finland, Jordan, Latvia, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.

Wen welcomed their attendance and thanked their efforts in promoting relations with China. He also called for the countries to expand exchanges and cooperation in fields including economy, trade, and energy.

For their part, the foreign leaders extended their congratulations on the forum's success. They stressed the importance of China's participation in global issues.

The premier also met with the President of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab, before holding talks with representatives of enterprises.
