Two Chinese pandas ready to go to Spain

Mr. Jesus, director Madrid Zoo, said, "I think they are perfect animals. They are very nice looking and they are very young. And especially her- she is of an age perfect for breeding in the future."

Like people, pandas also need passports to go abroad. And they have to go through a number of medical checks and get vaccinated. Their blood samples have already been sent to the Madrid Zoo for filing.

The zoo has been long awaiting their arrival. And all medical and transfer documents were prepared within two months.

In June, China and Spain signed an agreement to conduct a joint panda research program. Under the agreement, Bingxing and Huazuiba will stay in Spain for ten years.

The pair is likely to make their premiere to spectators two weeks after their arrival in Madrid.
