Guo Boxiong meets with chiefs of staff of SCO members

The Vice-Chairman of the Chinese Central Military Commission, Guo Boxiong, has met with the chiefs of staff of SCO member countries who attended the strategic consultations for the joint anti-terror drill in Urumqi.

Guo stressed that the exercise does not concern the interest of any third party. It shows the SCO's determination to face new threats and challenges in maintaining regional stability and boosting prosperity.

The drill demonstrates the capability of member countries in jointly combating terrorism, separatism and religious extremism.
