EU monitors: Turkey election "free and fair"

Turkey's ruling party has won the country's Parliamentary election. EU monitors declared it free and fair.

Luc Van Den Brande, head of the delegation from the Parliamentary Assembly of the European Council says the election was properly organized, and that the right to vote freely was respected.

Luc Van Den Brande said, "After our observation, the last days and yesterday of course, the electoral day, there is a positive outcome. It was organized in a professional way, well prepared. People were aware of their responsibilities in the bureaus of the polling stations. When we look to the preservation, because that is essential.
