Bill Clinton hits the campaign trail for Hillary

Staying with Hillary Clinton The Democratic presidential also has some powerful backing on the campaign trail. Her husband, the former US leader has begun stumping calling Clinton one of the best qualified presidential candidates in his voting life.

The political power couple, made their debut appearance,in support of Hillary's candidacy at a rally in Iowa.

The former U.S. President says, her community organizing and anti-poverty and civil rights work before they were married, and subsequent efforts to build schools and improve education in Arkansas when he was governor are signs of her ability and commitment.

Bill Clinton, former US President, said, "In 2008 I will celebrate my fortieth year as a voter. And in those forty years, tumultuous, fascinating years for America, she is by a long stretch the best qualified, non-incumbent I have ever had a chance to vote for president in my entire life."

During her speech, Hillary Clinton condemned President George W. Bush's decision to spare former White House aide, Lewis Libby from prison. And said it was evident that the Bush administration had "elevated cronyism over the rule of law."

Hillary Clinton said, "And when I'm President, we're going to get back to cherishing the constitution, upholding the rule of law, and putting forth the best values of America for the entire world to see again."

While the New York senator has led the Democratic presidential field in national opinion polls, she trails rival John Edwards in the Iowa polls.
